Francisco Iglesias is a Partner within our Labor Law Department.
Francisco is an experienced attorney who advises our clients on all matters relating to labor and union disputes, including reviewing and advising on employment contracts, litigation and non-judiciary claims.
In addition to court work, Francisco offers planning and strategic guidance, advice on work permits and has served on committees responsible for drafting, preparing and reviewing Panamanian labor laws. Prior to becoming a lawyer in 2000, Francisco worked with us as a legal assistant.
Francisco has a Bachelor of Law degree from Universidad Nacional de Panamá (2000), and he became a Master of Law (LL.M.) for Procedural Law from Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua in 2003.
Before becoming Partner, Francisco acted as Professor of Labor Law at Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua. As well as being a member of the Panama Bar Association, Francisco is a member of the Panamanian Academy of Labor Law and the American Chamber of Commerce in Panama (AmCham). He teaches seminars aimed at providing insight into the latest legal developments.
