Carolina Arias is a Partner in our Corporate Department and joined the firm in 2010.
Carolina advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of corporate law, which includes mergers and acquisitions as well as trusts and foundations. Her corporate practice focuses on the incorporation and management of companies, estate planning and Panamanian private interest foundations. Carolina’s clients range from families and individuals to banks, insurance companies and wealth management advisors.
Prior to joining AFRA, Carolina gained experience working as a paralegal at Marval, O’Farrel & Mairal in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also worked as a Foreign Attorney at Arnold & Porter LLP in Washington DC.
Carolina completed the International Law Exchange Program at the Universidad Católica de Argentina. She has a Bachelor of Law and Political Sciences degree from the Universidad Católica Santa María La Antigua as well as a Master of Law from Northwestern University Law School.
Carolina is a member of the Panama Bar Association.
