Enna Ferrer de Carles is a Partner in both our Labor and Immigration Law Departments.
Enna is one of the most experienced lawyers at AFRA. She assists clients with all manner of labor issues including group and individual litigation, union disputes, drafting and review of employment contracts, and day-to-day planning and strategy.
In addition to her labor law expertise, Enna also advises clients on all immigration matters including the preparation of work permits for foreign nationals, migration processes, visas and resident status, and dependent immigration status.
Enna graduated summa cum laude in Law and Political Sciences from Universidad Católica Santa María la Antigua in 1983. She went on to become Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Michigan in 1990 before practising law in Panama.
In addition to her membership with the Panama Bar Association, Enna is a member of the Michigan Alumni Association, and served on the Board of Directors for the International School of Panama between 1998 and 2002. Because of her extensive legal expertise, she sat as a judge on the Inter-American Development Bank Administrative Tribunal between 1999 and 2004.
