Roberto focuses his practice on commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, as well as the legal aspects of day-to-day business operations. He has advised clients from various industries on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation.

He began his career at a consulting firm, where he provided legal advice on tax matters and assisted clients with the interpretation and compliance of complex regulatory frameworks. Subsequently, he joined the treasury department of a well-known Panamanian banking institution, where he expanded his legal practice to include financing instruments and corporate transactions. His experience includes the negotiation of financial and derivative contracts, the supervision of institutional financing strategies, and the legal analysis of regulatory changes impacting treasury and investment operations.

Additionally, he has actively participated in project financing transactions, the structuring of collateral packages, as well as the drafting and negotiation of loan agreements and security documents.
