
Roberto focuses his practice on commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, and the legal aspects of day-to-day business operations. He has advised clients across various industries on corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and the negotiation of commercial agreements.
His early experience began at a consulting firm, where he provided legal tax advice and helped clients navigate complex regulatory frameworks. He later joined the treasury department of a leading Panamanian bank, where he broadened his legal practice to include financing instruments and corporate transactions. His work included the negotiation of financial and derivatives agreements, oversight of institutional funding strategies, and legal analysis of regulatory developments affecting treasury and investment operations.
Furthermore, he has been involved in project finance transactions, the structuring of collateral packages, and the drafting and negotiation of loan and security agreements.
