Luis is a Partner in the Corporate Department of the firm.
It is dedicated to assisting clients with their daily business needs in the field of Panamanian corporate law. In addition, it provides support in complex transactions, including advising a prominent portfolio of commercial groups and individuals, both local and foreign.
His extensive experience encompasses advising on tax law, banking, insurance, and capital markets regulations, the analysis of tax regulations, commercial rules, and corporate governance.
In addition, Luis offers constant support in compliance projects and due diligence for the prevention of money laundering and related crimes, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations, international standards, and good commercial practices.
Likewise, alongside a highly experienced and professional team, she leads the fiduciary practices of the subsidiaries Alfaro, Ferrer & Ramírez (BVI) Limited and Afra Trust Corporation, providing comprehensive advice to our clients in various industries, including real estate, energy, finance, family and business groups, among others.
