Juan Antonio is a Partner in the Public Services and Public Procurement Department of the firm.
It specializes in representing leading port terminal operators and players in the hydrocarbons market. Its experience also includes assisting clients in the establishment and development of major container port projects, shipyards, and logistics parks in Panama.
In addition to his focus on port and industrial projects, Juan Antonio advises on a wide range of commercial matters, for example, corporate governance, shareholder agreements, joint ventures, acquisitions, and commercial transactions.
Juan Antonio is widely recognized for his expertise in advising multinational companies establishing operations in special economic zones and regimes such as the Colon Free Zone, Panama Pacifico Special Economic Area, Free Zones, Multinational Headquarters (SEM), and Multinational Enterprises for Manufacturing (EMMA), among others.
Additionally, Juan Antonio acts as general counsel for a wide range of sectors in their daily operations, including real estate developers, manufacturing, tourism, entertainment, family offices, pharmaceuticals, and retail, among others.
Her active participation in drafting and discussing relevant sector regulations ensures that our clients receive strategic and comprehensive legal guidance.
